1. Data Controller

EventMED Dispatch Ltd is the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with the licensing and support of EventMED Dispatch.

2. What Data We Collect

For licensing purposes only, we may collect:

  • Organisation name (embedded in the licence key)
  • Contact email address (for licence delivery and support)
  • Licence key activation records (tier, issue date, expiry date)

We do NOT collect, access, transmit, or store any:

  • Event data, call records, or patient information
  • Controller names or operator identities
  • Audit logs or dispatch records
  • Location data or device identifiers

3. How Your Data Is Processed

All event data, dispatch records, audit logs, and operational data created within EventMED Dispatch is stored exclusively on the Licensee’s local device(s). The software operates entirely offline. No data is transmitted to the Author or any third party.

Licence keys are generated offline and delivered via email. No activation server or telemetry is used. The software does not “phone home” at any point during operation.

4. Data Retention

Licensing records (organisation name, email, licence details) are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus 6 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

5. Your Rights

Under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request portability of your data

6. Third-Party Data Processors

We do not share personal data with any third parties. Licence keys are generated and managed solely by the Author.

7. Patient Data Advisory

EventMED Dispatch is a dispatch coordination tool. Any patient-identifiable data entered by operators into call records or logs is the responsibility of the Licensee’s organisation. The Licensee should ensure their use of the software complies with their own data protection policies, NHS Information Governance requirements (where applicable), and the UK GDPR.
