IMPORTANT — READ CAREFULLY: This End User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity, “Licensee”) and EventMED Dispatch Ltd (“Author”) for the EventMED Dispatch software (“Software”).
By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
The Author grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on the number of devices specified in the Licensee’s licence key, subject to the terms of this Agreement.
The Software requires a valid licence key to operate beyond the trial period. Licence keys are issued by the Author and encode the Licensee’s name, licence tier, device allowance, and expiry date. Licence keys may not be shared, published, or transferred to third parties without the Author’s written consent.
The Licensee may NOT:
The Software is the intellectual property of the Author and is protected by copyright law. The Author retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.
The Software may be used without a licence key for an evaluation period of thirty (30) days from first installation. During the trial period, exports will be watermarked. After the trial period, a valid licence key is required for continued use.
All event data, scenarios, audit logs, and reports created by the Licensee using the Software remain the property of the Licensee. The Author has no access to, and makes no claim over, the Licensee’s data. Data is stored locally on the Licensee’s device(s) and is encrypted at rest.
Upon expiry of the licence or trial period, the Licensee retains read-only access to all existing event data and may continue to export reports and audit logs. The Licensee may not create new events, dispatch units, or modify existing event data until a valid licence key is provided.
Licence keys include access to Software updates for the duration of the licence period. Support is provided at the Author’s discretion and may vary by licence tier.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. THE AUTHOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF THE AUTHOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if the Licensee fails to comply with any term of this Agreement, or upon expiry of the licence key without renewal. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies. The Licensee retains full access to export their data prior to and after termination.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
